Mariposa like its sister community High Desert has formulated a plan to build a resident friendly community while respecting nature’s natural beauty. Mariposa offers its residence over 10 miles of walking trails throughout the community, a large community park and parks throughout the many neighborhoods. The Mariposa Preserve includes 3,000 acres designated as open space, undeveloped and available for exploration. Mariposa has a 12,000 square-foot community center with a fitness center, swimming pool, locker rooms and a café. There is also a 16,000 square foot building located within the community has a café and retail space available there to provide services to the community.

Mariposa Home Values

Rio Rancho has a new 6500 acre master planned community developed by High Desert Investment Corp. who is also responsible for Albuquerque’s High Desert community. Lot prices range from $140,000 to above $200,000 and the larger Estate lots range from $170,000 to $400,000. A few custom builders have spec homes available for viewing and homes range from 1,900 to 4,000 square feet with homes prices starting just below $250,000 up to over $1 million.
